Wilmington VA Medical Center offers a variety of health services to meet the needs of our nation's Veterans. For additional contact information you may also view our phone directory or A to Z List of Services.

Our administrative hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at Wilmington VA Medical Center. If you have a life threatening emergency, dial 911 to get immediate help.

Tell the Director is an online service for Veterans, patients and family members who would like to provide comments about their experiences at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. Telephone Care:

Registered nurses are available 24 hours, 7 days a week and on holidays to answer medical advice questions. This service is provided to increase veteran access to healthcare advice and education and to help the patient avoid unnecessary hospital or clinic visits. During regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Telecare is also able to assist in making changes to primary care clinic appointments.

Fee Basis:

Questions or concerns regarding your claim filed by a non-VA medical provider can be directed to a Fee Basis Clerk at (800) 461-8262, ext. 5217.

For travel requests, questions or concerns, Wilmington VAMC patients may call our travel clerks at (800) 461-8262, ext. 5322.
